  • PLA Resin

    Polylactic acid (PLA) is a bio-based and biodegradable material that not only reduces the carbon footprint but can also be decomposed in various ways. The PLA paper cups produced by Pando are compostable series products, which means they can be degraded into water and carbon dioxide under certain circumstances, reducing environmental pollution, and is an environmentally friendly material.

    In response to the plastic ban all over the world, Pando launched its new products, Green E Cups which is water-based barrier coating that can be recycled and reused to reduce the waste of resources and environmental pollution, achieving sustainable development and a circular economy.

Waste Paper Recycling

The waste is collected through special underground pipelines to realize the recycling generated from the whole process including coating, printing, die-cutting, and forming. The collected waste paper is compressed and packed in the specific packing workshop, and then transported to the paper recycling plant for recycling, to maximize resource utilization.

  • Solar Photovoltaic Energy System

    The roof of the Pando factory that covers an area of 28000 square meters is fully overlaid by solar photovoltaic panels, with a total capacity of 2.6352MWP. In 2018, solar photovoltaic energy generation reached 1.8248 million kWh, which is equivalent to reducing carbon footprint by 496345kg. In 2019, solar photovoltaic energy generation came up to 1.665 million kWh, which is equivalent to reducing carbon footprint by 452880kg.

  • Equipment Upgrading

    With the upgrade and transformation of equipment, eight compressed air systems have been upgraded to blower electric heating systems, which helps reduce carbon footprint by 64950kg.

  • Heat Energy Recycling

    The heat of the air compressors is converted into hot water to heat the office area and workshops, saving eight coolers, seven air conditioners, ten electric heaters, and reducing carbon footprint by 55300kg.

Recycling Corrugated Cartons in In-house Project

For the products of the in-house factory, corrugated cartons are gathered and reused to save the carbon footprint. Pando actively promotes the recycling of packaging materials and recommend it to customers in other fields to effectively reduce carbon footprint.
